Whether you鈥檙e leaving school, already in employment or looking to start a new career, the College offers Apprenticeships in a wide range of industries, from Catering to Plumbing and Groundskeeping to IT.

- Apprentices are usually young people, but they can be anyone aged 16+.
- Apprentices work alongside experienced employees to learn specific skills.
- As an apprentice, you will receive extensive training (including training towards nationally recognised qualifications such as NVQs). You will also earn a salary and receive paid holiday.
The minimum apprenticeship wage applies to those aged 16-18 and those aged 19 or over in their first year. All other apprentices should be paid the national minimum wage for their age or more.

Many employers are keen to keep their apprentices at the end of their training and try to find appropriate positions for them when the apprenticeship ends. There is no guarantee of a job, but by completing your training, your chances of getting another job are much higher.
Depending on the level, the industry sector and the apprentice鈥檚 ability, your apprenticeship could take anywhere between one to four years to complete.
You will gain qualifications through college assignments and work assessments throughout your apprenticeship. Your 小鸟酱 assessor will regularly meet with you and your manager to
